DAY 2: Thursday 4/12
After a hearty buffet breakfast at the venue's Locavore Restaurant, we check out of voco Kirkton Park at 9:00am.
Our first stop this morning is the Australian Army Infantry Museum. This venue is the custodian of Infantry Corps history and its customs and traditions. The museum collection ranges from the colonial armies and their first deployments overseas in the 19th century through to today’s diggers.
After departing Singleton, we hit the Putty Road & continue our way to the Hawkesbury Valley with a lunch break at the iconic Grey Gum Cafe, a favourite place to stop amongst motorcyclists on the weekends.
Once we have filled our tummies & stretched our legs, we continue our journey towards the 4.5 star Crowne Plaza, Hawkesbury Valley, checking in at about 2:30pm. The afternoon is then yours to explore this beautiful venue - roam some of their 8 hectares of landscaped gardens, explore their fitness facilities, go for a swim in the indoor pool or treat yourself at the onsite day spa.
Dinner will be served in the Lachlan Macquarie Room before you retire for the night in one of their newly refurbished rooms.

DAY 3: Friday 5/12
After a delicious breakfast at the Crowne Plaza, a local guide from the Hawkesbury Historical Society will hop on our coach at 9:30am & take us on a journey around the Windsor & Richmond areas.

At St Matthew's Anglican Church, we will hop off the coach & wander inside to hear about this church's remarkable history & stories about the people involved in its construction.
Finally, we will head to Richmond, taking in the market square, schoolhouse and church site and burial ground from Macquarie’s era and later buildings like the courthouse and police stables and the Bowman family’s role in building Bowman Cottage, Toxana and the Uniting Church in West Market Street.
After this historical tour, we will return to the beautiful Crowne Plaza to indulge in a very special festive high tea with delicious festive treats, petite fours, gourmet finger sandwiches, a range of boutique teas & coffee & a selection of hot canapes.
