Welcome to Connect Coaches, your one-stop destination for all your bus and coach driver training needs on the Central Coast. Whether you're a seasoned driver or someone just getting started in the industry, we have the courses and licenses you need to kickstart or enhance your career. If you're interested in becoming a bus or coach driver, our Managing Director, Liam, offers Bus Authority Courses on a regular basis. These courses are designed to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate a bus safely and efficiently. Liam has years of experience in the bus industry and has been involved in various types of work, ranging from service work to tourist operations. One of Liam's notable achievements is his role as a Bus Safety Officer, where he spent three years delivering a comprehensive bus safety program to schools across the Central Coast. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the importance of safety and the protocols that need to be followed to ensure a smooth and secure journey for all passengers. Liam has also served as a Union Delegate at both Busways Kincumber depot and Burwood depot State Transit, advocating for the rights and welfare of bus drivers. This involvement has given him valuable insights into the industry and the challenges faced by drivers on a daily basis. In addition to his roles in safety and advocacy, Liam has operated tourist services such as the Sydney to Rock Darling Harbour route for State Transit. He has also worked as a full commentary trained driver, providing engaging and informative tours to international tourists in popular destinations like the city sights, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley vineyards, and Canberra. Furthermore, Liam has extensive experience in charter work, school runs, and route services, making him a well-rounded and versatile professional in the bus industry. His expertise also led him to become a trainer at Kincumber depot Busways, where he imparts his knowledge and skills to the next generation of bus drivers.
