Tour Information

This Northern Beaches tour operates as a public day tour from the Central Coast.

The Northern Beaches day tour can also be arranged as a private charter for your own private  group.

The Northern Beaches day tour departs the Central Coast at 8-8:30 am after morning pick ups.

Morning pick ups commence at 7-7:30am.


The Northern Beaches day tour  travels down the M1 Motorway to Wahroonga and then heads out via the Northern Suburbs, including:
  • St Ives & Terrey Hills
  • Church Point
  • Palm Beach

Morning Tea

Morning Tea will be at approximately 10:30am  [morning tea is included on this tour].


After morning tea, we follow the coastline, passing through some of the well-known northern beaches of Sydney and stopping for lunch at Manly beach.

 

Lunch Stop Manly Beach

Passengers will have approximately an hour & a half to:
  • Browse the shops of Manly
  • Stroll along Manly Beach
  • Dine at one of the many cafes (lunch is not included on this tour )

After lunch, we will continue up to North Head to see the fantastic views of Sydney Harbour.

From North Head, we then follow the harbourside suburbs back towards the city

We will then make a return to the Central Coast, arriving at approximately  5:30pm.

This tour will be conducted on a government owned site and due to this there are certain terms and conditions for entering the site.
It is important to all Australians that our national assets are kept secure. For this reason, ANSTO has implemented a range of safety and security measures that visitors need to observe.

All ANSTO visitors need to provide the following information prior to coming onsite:

  • All adults (visitors aged 18 or more) must bring their photo identification with them for verification by ANSTO representatives on arrival at site. The photo identification needs to contain the adults full name, residential address and date of birth.
  • All visitors must wear appropriate, fully enclosed footwear.
  • Photography is not permitted onsite.
  • Bags or cases are not permitted onsite.
  • If, for medical reasons, you need to take medical supplies or food/drink, they must be carried in a clear plastic bag.
  • ANSTO reserves the right to cancel or postpone any tour at any time

If you are fitted with one of the following medical devices you must inform Connect Coaches when booking and ANSTO centre staff on arrival;

  • Cardiac pacemaker or implantable defibrillator
  • Catheter that has metal components
  • Metal clip placed to prevent bleeding from an intracranial aneurysm
  • Medication pump such as that used to deliver insulin or a pain-relieving drug
  • Cochlear inner ear implant

When arriving at the Discovery Centre at ANSTO, you will be required to take your personal belongings off the coach and place them in the free lockers located at the Centre.
