On the 23rd of May, we had the pleasure of hosting the delightful residents of Alloura Waters Retirement Village on the Central Coast. Our first stop was the historic Gallipoli Mosque in Auburn, where a member of the mosque shared insights about the Muslim faith. Next, we indulged in a feast at Jasmin 1, a local Lebanese restaurant, savoring authentic flavors and dishes. To continue the exploration, we drove through the vibrant suburbs of Auburn and Granville, immersing ourselves in the rich culture of the Middle East. The day concluded with a delightful afternoon tea at Abla's Pastries, a renowned Lebanese pastry shop. The experience was a fusion of diverse flavors, warm hospitality, and cultural enrichment, leaving everyone with lasting memories.
