We enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll through the old buildings, imagining what life must have been like for the residents of Joadja in the 19th century. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to see the old mine shafts and learn about the history of coal mining in the area. The knowledgeable guides at the village were able to provide us with a wealth of information about the village's past, making our visit even more interesting and informative. Overall, our visit to the Historic Village of Joadja was a delightful experience. It was a great way to break up the long journey back home and we left feeling enriched and enlightened by our time spent exploring this hidden gem of Australian history.
