High Tea at Elay Public Day Tour December 2023
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of embarking on a delightful journey with Connect Coaches that left us with lasting memories. Our adventure began with a visit to Savannah Estate, a charming winery located in the heart of the Hunter Region. As wine enthusiasts, we couldn't resist the opportunity to indulge in some wine tasting and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of the wines on offer. After our taste buds were tantalized by the fine wines at Savannah Estate, we made our way to Rachael's Elay Tea House in the picturesque town of Branxton. Stepping into the tea house felt like stepping back in time, as we were instantly enveloped in an atmosphere of nostalgia. The Christmas High Tea that awaited us was nothing short of extraordinary. The attention to detail and presentation of each delectable treat left us in awe. From delicate finger sandwiches to mouthwatering scones with jam and cream, we savored every bite while sipping on fragrant teas and enjoying the warm and inviting ambiance. But our adventure didn't end there. We couldn't resist the temptation to explore the Hunter Valley Chocolate Co., conveniently located near Peterson House. Our taste buds were in for another treat as we indulged in a variety of handmade chocolates, each more decadent than the last. It was a chocolate lover's paradise, and we couldn't resist taking home a few treats to enjoy later. Overall, our day with Connect Coaches was a truly wonderful experience.
