Join Connect Coaches for an unforgettable Coast to Country South Coast Tour experience! On Monday 27th May 2024, we embarked on a journey that took us through stunning landscapes, charming villages, and exciting wildlife encounters over five memorable days. Our tour was graced with perfect weather, making the experience even more delightful for our group of 20 seniors. The adventure began on Day one with a stop at Cumberland State Forest for a delightful morning tea featuring homemade treats by Alison. Our next stop was Bald Hill Lookout at Stanwell Park, where we savored a lunch of delicious sandwiches while soaking in the breathtaking views. Our journey continued down the south coast, passing iconic landmarks like Sea Cliff Bridge before reaching the picturesque town of Kiama. The Sebel Apartments provided us with comfortable accommodations for the night, where we enjoyed a scrumptious two-course dinner. Day two, Tuesday 28th May, saw us leaving Kiama to venture further south towards Batemans Bay. Along the way, we made stops at The Berry Treat Factory, Berry Village, Huskisson, Ulladulla, and finally arrived at our base for the next two nights, Lincoln Downs. Exploring the local area of Batemans Bay was on the agenda for Day three, 29th May 2024. Our day was filled with visits to Observation Point, Melville Point, Mossy Point, Bodalla Dairy, and Central Tilba. The highlight of the day was getting up close to a Seal Colony at Australia Rock in Narooma. We returned to our cozy accommodations at Lincoln Downs for another restful night. After a lovely breakfast on Day four, we set out for a visit to Mogo Zoo, where we marveled at the diverse wildlife species. Following our zoo experience, we headed to the charming village of Mogo for lunch before continuing our journey to Goulburn. The evening was well spent at Mecure Goulburn, where we enjoyed drinks and a delectable two-course dinner. Day five, 31st May 2024, marked the final leg of our tour. We began with a visit to the historic Garroorigang House, the former home of the Hume Family, followed by a stop at Rocky Hill Museum. Our lunch stop at The Courtyard Cafe in Berrima treated us to a ploughman lunch, and we had the opportunity to explore the village as well. As we made our way back home, we concluded our incredible five-day journey at the Waterfall Cafe in Kariong. This five-day excursion was a fantastic experience enjoyed by all 20 guests who were part of this unforgettable journey.
