High Tea at Old Government House, Parramatta (South Side)
High Tea - Old Government House, Parramatta
Join us at Connect Coaches as we step back in time & enjoy the time honoured tradition of sitting down for high tea at Old Government House, the most important National Trust House in Australia. With its sandstone courtyard, old English hedges & long vine covered verandahs, you will feel as though you have stepped back in time.
Before we enjoy our high tea, we will be taken on a guided tour of the historic Dairy and Rangers Cottages and grounds in Parramatta park. The Dairy Cottage was constructed between 1796 and 1805 by ex-convict George Salter. The adjacent Rangers Cottage was built around 1870. The Dairy Cottage is one of the oldest intact cottages still standing in Australia today.
