These Art, Design & Fashion markets have a vibrant atmosphere, fantastic stalls, great products and delicious food. The Burton street tunnel exclusively features Artisan made products with the Green and Gravel areas featuring Fashion stalls and much much more.
The Kirribilli Markets Today:
Today, the Kirribilli Markets is one of Sydney’s oldest and most popular Markets. Featuring stalls selling, new and recycled fashion and accessories, emerging local fashion designers, home and gift wares, arts and craft, jewellery, plants, gourmet foods and a whole lot more.
History of the Kirribilli Markets:
The Kirribilli Markets were first held on January 21st 1976 in the back yard of the newly opened Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre. The Market quickly grew in size and popularity spreading into the adjacent yard of the then Kirribilli Public School.When Kirribilli Public School was sold the Markets moved to the park along Alfred street South beside the Bridge and then for a short time to Bradfield Park under the Bridge. When North Sydney Council acquired the Milsons Point Bowling Club the Council kindly gave permission the Markets to conducted on the old bowling green and in the Burton street tunnel. This allowed the Markets to expand to it’s present 220 stalls. All monies raised by the Market go to fund the programs of the Kirribilli Centre.
ITINERARY
6:45 - 8:00am - **Pick up route
8:00am Depart Kariong
9am - 11:00am - Free time to explore Kirribilli Markets
11:30pm - 1:30pm - The Rocks Markets
2:30pm - **Arrive back on the Central Coast & begin the drop off route
** For this event, Connect Coaches will pick up passengers from various locations on the Central Coast.
Times indicated below are approximations only & may be adjusted closer to the transfer dates, depending on which pick up points are required & also what time the gates open at the stadium.
Connect Coaches will contact passengers a few days beforehand to confirm their pick up time & pick up location. Click on the links below to view a map of each pick up location.
Unfortunately, there may be times where the event organisers need to cancel a market due to torrential local rainfall, severe weather warning or damaged grounds. This decision is made by the Thursday evening preceding the market.
If this occurs, Connect Coaches will provide a full refund to those who have paid if they are unable to attend on the rescheduled date.
Minimum Numbers:
This event will only proceed if 10 people have booked & paid. When cancelled by Connect Coaches, a full refund will be issued to those who have paid.
