On May 21st, 2024, we embarked on a memorable journey with 24 passengers from the Central Coast to explore the beauty and rich culture of the Gallipoli Mosque in Auburn. Our knowledgeable guide, Ergun, provided fascinating insights into the mosque and the Muslim faith, engaging our group with his expertise and answering all our questions. Following our enlightening visit to the mosque, we indulged in a delightful Lebanese banquet at Jesmond Restaurant in Auburn, savoring the flavors of traditional cuisine together. The culinary adventure continued as we made our way to Abla's Pastries in Granville, where our taste buds were treated to an array of delectable pastries that left a lasting impression on everyone. This experience was not just a trip, but a cultural immersion that showcased the diversity and richness of our community. Our journey was filled with laughter, learning, and shared moments of joy, creating lasting memories for each of us.
