Taste of Middle East Tour in October 2023. The tour started with home pick up for Central Coast residents, which made it convenient for everyone involved. The first stop was the Galopili Mosque in Auburn, where we were fortunate enough to have an informative talk about the Muslim faith. It was enlightening to learn more about the religion and gain a better understanding of its principles. Additionally, one of the older members of the Mosque community shared the history of the Turkish community in Sydney, which added depth to our experience. Next, we made our way to Jasmin1 Restaurant in Auburn for a Lebanese banquet lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and provided a true taste of Middle Eastern cuisine. It was a feast for the senses, with an array of flavorful dishes that left us feeling satisfied and delighted. After lunch, we made a stop at Abla's Pastries in Granville for some afternoon tea and coffee. The Lebanese pastries were absolutely divine, with delicate flavors and expertly crafted desserts. It was the perfect way to end our culinary adventure, indulging in sweet treats and sipping on hot beverages. Overall, the Taste of the Middle East Tour in October 2023 was an outstanding event. The combination of cultural exploration, delicious food, and warm hospitality made it one of my favorite tours of the year. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enriching experience.
