Rocky Hill War Memorial - 2024 Canberra Sights & Lights Tour
During our March 2024 tour, we visited The Rocky Hill War Memorial in Golbourn, a touching tribute to the sacrifices of Australian servicemen and women in past conflicts. The statues and plaques were beautifully maintained, with engraved names of fallen soldiers serving as a poignant reminder of war's cost and the bravery of those who served. Information plaques provided historical context, enhancing our understanding. Reflecting on the sacrifices made, we left feeling grateful. The memorial was a significant stop on our journey, evoking deep emotions and honoring those who had given their lives for our country.
