Central Coast - One Day Tours
Today we will join "The Friends of Rookwood" for a guided tour of Rookwood Cemetery's world class heritage areas. We stop for morning tea at the Garden of Remembrance with our guide. We then travel by Coach with full commentary by our guide through Rookwood, taking in the Catholic Mausoleum of the Resurrection, gravesites of Jack Long and Fred Daly, viewing the stained glass, leadlight doors on vaults and so much more. After our informative two hour tour, we travel to Rosehill for lunch.
Returning Back to the Central Coast
Rookwood Cemetery is the largest necropolis in the Southern Hemisphere, located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Rookwood is a suburb, close to Lidcombe railway station about 17 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district. Wikipedia
